Choosing which auto accessories to buy can be a quite difficult task especially for the person on a tight budget that sometimes, most people skip this for a later date.

Auto accessories are purchased for several reasons- for mere decoration and styling, for the more practical purpose of usefulness to the users, or even both.  Whichever a consumer’s reason is, one must know which ones are of highest importance and which ones you can actually skip for later when money comes in handy.

Auto accessories do not come cheap whether in new cars or old cars.  This makes the decision whether to go with built-in or add-on accessories even harder especially with all the new technology we face today.

·         Navigation Systems – Built-ins are better since they have a bigger display and more accurate.

·         Car Audio – Choose the factory installed ones.  Most cars today integrate car audio systems along with the other controls.  However, for older cars, you can make use of a versatile replacement radio.

·         Satellite Radio – This can be really pricey.  Shop around on portable dash-mount radios.  You can have them installed later when you feel its necessity, otherwise, drop it.

·         Car Video – This only works for passengers and not for the drivers.  However, if you have kids who want to be amused during your trips, you can always have this installed at a later date before a long trip.

·         Bluetooth – Go for the built-in.
